EGRCast is the official podcast of EGR GYM, a gym in Carpina, Pernambuco (Brazil), featuring conversations about health, well-being and quality of life. Hosted by Valdênia Vasconcelos and produced in partnership with Visão Comunica, the show released six episodes between July and November 2025, featuring founder Edval Júnior and professionals in physical therapy, gynecology, psychology and nutrition. All episodes are available for free on the EGR GYM YouTube channel.

The podcast was born while the gym was still under construction. In this guide, we cover what EGRCast is, who took part in each episode, a summary of each conversation and where to watch. Watch the full premiere episode on YouTube, with Edval Júnior, or visit the EGR GYM YouTube channel.

What is EGRCast and how did it start?

On June 11, 2025, Visão Comunica posted the first behind-the-scenes look at a new show produced in partnership with EGR, promising that the collaboration would “get people talking.” Less than a month later, on July 7, EGR GYM released the EGRCast trailer, which opens with a description of the project:

“Welcome to EGRCast. This project was created to inspire, inform and bring you closer to the essence of EGR.”

In the same post, the gym announced that the podcast would feature several special guests to enrich the exchange of ideas and experiences. In each episode, host Valdênia Vasconcelos welcomes a guest to talk about a topic related to the health of body and mind.
