Gym with a nutritionist in Carpina: discover 360º Care
Quality of Life Assessment, nutritionist, body scanner, Recovery Room and a partnership with Nabuco Lopes: how 360º Care works at EGR GYM.

EGR GYM is a gym in Carpina, Pernambuco (Brazil), that brings together training, a nutritionist, a body scanner, a Recovery Room and physical therapy in one place, all organized by the Quality of Life Center. We call this combination 360º Care: everything starts with the Quality of Life Assessment, a step in the enrollment process, and each member is then directed to a training program that fits their needs.
The idea stems from something we have already shared in our content: many people start training looking for a change in their body, but it is in their daily routine that they notice the real result, with more energy, more confidence, better health and a higher quality of life. In this post, we explain how each step of this support works.
How does the Quality of Life Assessment work?
The Quality of Life Assessment is part of the enrollment process at EGR GYM. Before your first workout, we want to get to know you: sleep, energy, nutrition, pain and routine. The care follows four steps:
- Assessment: we understand your routine, your sleep, your energy, your nutrition and your pain.
- Specialist review: a specialist reviews your assessment. No robots, no judgment.
- Integrated plan: training, nutrition, recovery and lab tests are looked at together, with professional support.
- Direction: you receive a training program for your needs, with support from the team.
As we said in a video published in May 2026:
“The problem was never a lack of willpower. It's a lack of direction, of support, of a place that truly guides you.”
Does EGR GYM have a nutritionist and body assessment?
Yes. Support from a nutritionist aims for a strategic, sustainable diet capable of transforming habits. To track progress objectively, the gym has a body scanner, a body analysis that tracks changes over time. The fitness assessment is also part of the facilities and is carried out on the gym's ground floor. That way, progress is tracked with data, not just by what you see in the mirror. To dig deeper into the topic, see the nutrition and training tips from nutritionist Carolina Amorim.
Recovery Room and physical therapy: recovering is also training
The Recovery Room, with an immersion tub, was designed to help the body recover after training, restore energy and help members get back to performing in life. According to our Google Business Profile, EGR GYM's services also include physical therapy.
Day to day, the team of coaches supports this care. Coach Alex Andrade works with members, helping them restore the body's functionality and build physical strength. Coach Renata Lopes, who holds a degree in Physical Education and specializes in Sports Physical Therapy, works to boost results and transform training routines. Meet the rest of the team in the EGR GYM team.
Check-ups with lab tests: partnership with Laboratório Nabuco Lopes
In May 2026, EGR GYM partnered with Clínica e Laboratório Nabuco Lopes. The initiative starts from a question: you train, but is your health really good on the inside? Sometimes the body responds, you feel good and train every day, but some problems are silent.
The partnership was created to encourage prevention and comprehensive health care, so that members can monitor important health indicators through check-ups with lab tests and receive even more precise guidance from the EGR GYM team. How the check-up works and what terms are available to members are provided directly by our team. Learn more about the partnership between EGR GYM and Laboratório Nabuco Lopes.
Why does the care take into account your routine and each stage of life?
360º Care is based on the principle that each person and each stage of life brings different needs. A few topics we have already covered in our content show why this integrated approach makes a difference:
- Pain and routine: spending hours in the same posture at work can lead to postural imbalances that limit movement and overload other joints. That is why the cause of pain may not be exactly where it shows up, and before strengthening and stretching it is essential to look at posture and everyday habits.
- Women after 40: from this age on, women enter the menopausal transition, a phase in which the drop in estrogen can change the way the body stores fat, lower calorie expenditure and lead to loss of muscle mass. Strength training is one of the most effective tools at this stage: weight training increases muscle mass, speeds up metabolism, improves insulin sensitivity and can help counter these hormonal effects.
- Fitness for everyone: conditioning is not just about being an athlete. It is about taking care of your body, gaining energy and living better every day.
- The golden years: training with guidance and consistency makes a difference in keeping the body active, reducing pain and preserving independence in daily life.
Every case is individual, which is why the support starts with the assessment and continues with professional guidance.
