EGR GYM grand opening in Carpina: September 25, 2026

EGR GYM held its grand opening on September 25, 2026, in Carpina, Pernambuco (Brazil), with a special evening for its first members and guests. The public opening and the start of regular operations came three days later, on September 28, 2026, at Av. Pres. Getúlio Vargas, 923 (Rua dos Tamarindos), Santa Cruz, Carpina - PE.

After months of work, planning and dedication, EGR GYM came to life. In this article, we look back at the grand opening night and the day the doors opened to the whole community.

How was the opening date announced?

The September 25 date was shared with the city throughout the final stretch. In August, the equipment delivery video already announced: "September 25. EGR Gym is coming." On September 18, the gym showed the team gathered to finalize the last details, with the message "Behind EGR GYM, there's a team."

A few days before the event, EGR detailed the schedule on its profile. In a September 22 post, it explained that the 25th would be the Grand Opening, a special evening for the first members and guests, and that the 28th would mark the public opening, with the chance to see the gym's facilities and methodology.

What was EGR GYM's grand opening night like?

The grand opening brought together members, guests and staff in the new space at Av. Pres. Getúlio Vargas, 923, known as Rua dos Tamarindos. In the official video of the evening, September 25 was described as the day when "a new chapter in Carpina's health begins."

Founder Edval Júnior devoted his speech to gratitude:

"I'd like to thank each and every one of you who believed in this project. This is a very important moment for me, for my family, and I think for the whole community of Carpina, this care for health that EGR GYM is going to provide."

The message that closed the video sums up the spirit of the evening and is also the gym's motto: "Your transformation starts here."

When did EGR GYM open to the public?

On September 28, 2026, EGR GYM opened its doors to the whole community. In the video published on opening day, featuring interviews recorded on the gym floor during the grand opening, guests praised the facilities and highlighted the generous space between the machines. The gym's mission of carrying out a quality-of-life assessment for each member was also reinforced, so that every member feels welcomed and guided from day one.

Asked on the same occasion how he felt at that moment, Edval Júnior thanked the interviewer for his partnership and said he was certain the gym would be life-changing, not only for him but for many people. In his words, the new space is "a health center" for the city.

From that date on, Carpina gained a three-floor facility with weight training, cardio, a spinning studio, functional training, group programs, the Quality of Life Center, a nutritionist and a Recovery Room, plus underground parking. You can explore each area in detail in the tour of EGR GYM's facilities.

A new chapter for health in Carpina

The grand opening marked the start of a new phase. As EGR said in its post after the event, it was the beginning of "a new experience in training, health and quality of life in Carpina." The commitment, from day one, is to offer professional support, care at every stage and an environment designed for real people with real routines.

That care starts before the first workout. Every new member is invited to complete the Quality of Life Assessment, part of the Quality of Life Center, through which the team learns about each person's routine, sleep, energy, diet and pain and recommends the most suitable program. For anyone ready to take the first step, enrollment is available online.
